Sardar family has been involved in the food manufacturing, import and export business since 1990. The owner Mahfuj Sardar ran the Sardar Trading Company (joint venture with Japan). The business processed fresh water and salt water fish in a factory in Coxbazer, Bangladesh The Sardar family moved to the UK. Sardar Foods founder, Mr Sardar, started work as the marketing director for Natural Food (UK) and then Eurasia Food Services. He has over 25 years of experience in the food business in Bangladesh, Japan and the United Kingdom. In 2012 Sardar Food Products was created as Halal butchers and green grocers. In 2016 the shop was renovated into a small meat processing factory. Sardar Foods now creates packed meat, mince, poultry and frozen fish packet products of the highest quality Sardar brand, Happy brand, and Afro brand in food market
